Indian Textiles & Handicrafts Exports Promotion Organization (ITHEPO) is a non-profits making organization extablished & constituted under The All India Momin Ansar Welfare Society registered with the Goverment of U.P. to promote the exports of textiles and handicrafts, handlooms made -ups products like textiles, fabrics, scarf, stolen, shawl, ahram (arafati), bed linen, table linen, handloom towels, dhoti & saries, lungies, cotton crepes, handkerchiefs, home furnishings, rugs, carpets and floor coverings, etc. ITHEPO was constituted in the year of 2004 with 13 members and its present membership is around 105 spread all over the country. The textiles and handicrafts and handloom industry mainly exports textiles, fabrics, scarf, stolen , ahram (arafati) bed linen, table linen, toilet and kitchen linen, towels, curtains, cushions and pads, tapestries and upholstery's, carpets and floor coverings, etc. The basic objective of ITHEPO is to provide all support and guidance to the Indian textiles & handicrafts and handloom exporters and International buyers for trade promotion and International marketing. ITHEPO has its head office at Lucknow, India and regional offices at New Delhi and Mumbai will be opened shortly..

ADMINISTRATION

ITHEPO is established as a non profit making organization under the All India Momin Ansar Welfare Society as a branch and governed by its rules and regulations framed by the AIMAWS. It is administered by an Executive Committee consisting of nominated representatives from the export trade, exofficio members and nominated AIMAWS officials. The Committee is headed by Chairman and Chairman will appoint its Executive Committee. The Chairman hold office for a period of five years and further Chairman will appoint Vice Chairman and other Executive Committee for a period of the one or two years. The General Secretary of the ithepo appointed by the AIMAWS, assists the ithepo to run the administration.
